Ἀδελφοί, Χριστὸς ὑπὲρ πάντων ἀπέθανεν, ἵνα οἱ ζῶντες μηκέτι ἑαυτοῖς ζῶσιν, ἀλλὰ τῷ ὑπὲρ αὐτῶν ἀποθανόντι καὶ ἐγερθέντι. Ὥστε ἡμεῖς ἀπὸ τοῦ νῦν οὐδένα οἴδαμεν κατὰ σάρκα· εἰ δὲ καὶ ἐγνώκαμεν κατὰ σάρκα Χριστόν, ἀλλὰ νῦν οὐκέτι γινώσκομεν. ὥστε εἴ τις ἐν Χριστῷ καινὴ κτίσις· τὰ ἀρχαῖα παρῆλθεν, ἰδοὺ γέγονε καινὰ τὰ πάντα. τὰ δὲ πάντα ἐκ τοῦ Θεοῦ τοῦ καταλλάξαντος ἡμᾶς ἑαυτῷ διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ καὶ δόντος ἡμῖν τὴν διακονίαν τῆς καταλλαγῆς, ὡς ὅτι Θεὸς ἦν ἐν Χριστῷ κόσμον καταλλάσσων ἑαυτῷ, μὴ λογιζόμενος αὐτοῖς τὰ παραπτώματα αὐτῶν, καὶ θέμενος ἐν ἡμῖν τὸν λόγον τῆς καταλλαγῆς. Ὑπὲρ Χριστοῦ οὖν πρεσβεύομεν ὡς τοῦ Θεοῦ παρακαλοῦντος δι᾿ ἡμῶν· δεόμεθα ὑπὲρ Χριστοῦ, καταλλάγητε τῷ Θεῷ· τὸν γὰρ μὴ γνόντα ἁμαρτίαν ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν ἁμαρτίαν ἐποίησεν, ἵνα ἡμεῖς γενώμεθα δικαιοσύνη Θεοῦ ἐν αὐτῷ.	Brethren, Christ died for all, that those who live might live no longer for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised. From now on, therefore, we regard no one from a human point of view; even though we once regarded Christ from a human point of view, we regard him thus no longer. Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. So we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We beseech you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. [RSV]

At that time, passing along by the Sea of Galilee, Jesus saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net in the sea; for they were fishermen. And Jesus said to them, “Follow me and I will make you become fishers of men.” And immediately they left their nets and followed him. And going on a little farther, he saw James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, who were in their boats mending the nets. And immediately he called them; and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and followed him. And they went into Capernaum; and immediately on the sabbath he entered the synagogue and taught. Brethren, now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I complete what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church, of which I became a minister according to the divine office which was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known, the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now made manifest to his saints. To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we proclaim, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man mature in Christ Jesus. For this I toil, striving with all the energy which he mightily inspires within me. For I want you to know how greatly I strive for you. [RSV]

Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἡ Ἁγία τῶν πενήτων πληθύς, ἡ τὰ εἴδωλα συντρίψασα, πυρὶ ἐτελειώθη.	On this day the holy multitude of paupers that crushed the idols died by fire.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ μνήμη τῶν ἁγίων Μαρτύρων Ἕρμου, Σεραπίωνος, καὶ Πολυαίνου.	On this day, we commemorate the holy Martyrs Hermus, Serapion, and Polyaenus.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ μνήμη τῆς ἁγίας Μάρτυρος Ἰουλιανῆς, πλησίον τοῦ Στροβίλου· καὶ τοῦ Ἁγίου Μάρτυρος Λέοντος, ὃς ἤθλησε παρὰ τὴν θάλασσαν, πλησίον Μύρων τῆς Λυκίας.	On this day, we commemorate the holy Martyr Juliana near Strobilus. We also commemorate the holy Martyr Leo, who contested by the sea, near Myra of Lycia.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ οἱ ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τέσσαρες Ἀσκηταὶ ἐν εἰρήνῃ τελειοῦνται.	On this day the four Ascetics in the desert died in peace.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ μνήμη τῶν ἐν Ἁγίοις Πατέρων ἡμῶν Ἰωάννου καῖ Γεωργίου, Πατριαρχῶν Κωνσταντινουπόλεως.	On this day we commemorate our fathers among the saints, John and George, Patriarchs of Constantinople.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ μνήμη τοῦ Ὁσίου καὶ θεοφόρου Πατρὸς ἡμῶν Ἀρσενίου τοῦ νέου, τοῦ ἐξ Ἰωαννίνων μὲν καταγομένου, ἐν δὲ τῇ νήσῳ Πάρῳ ἀσκήσαντος.	On this day we commemorate our devout and God-bearing father Arsenius the New, who was from Ioannina and lived as an ascetic on the Island of Paros.
