Saint of God, intercede for us.

O St. George, that impious man could not bear to hear your words of reproof, and so he ordered that your mouth be struck, oh my! But when it was struck, it rang like a cymbal, crying: Christ is the only true God. [SD]

You are a genuine friend of Christ, and His premier athlete, O bright lantern of the entire world, star most luminous, lamp most precious, unsleeping guardian of those how honor you, O Martyr George. We pray that you will keep us safe. [SD]
