Ἀπόστολοι, Μάρτυρες, καὶ Προφῆται, Ἱεράρχαι, Ὅσιοι καὶ Δίκαιοι, οἱ καλῶς τὸν ἀγῶνα τελέσαντες, καὶ τὴν πίστιν τηρήσαντες, παῤῥησίαν ἔχοντες πρὸς τὸν Σωτῆρα, ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν αὐτὸν ὡς ἀγαθὸν ἱκετεύσατε, σωθῆναι δεόμεθα τὰς ψυχὰς ἡμῶν.	O Apostles, Martyrs, Prophets, Hierarchs, Monastics and the Righteous, you finished the race and kept the faith. You speak freely to the Savior. We pray you entreat Him on our behalf, to save our souls, since He is good. [SD]

Μνήσθητι Κύριε, ὡς ἀγαθὸς τῶν δούλων σου, καὶ εἴ τι ἐν βίῳ ἥμαρτον, συγχώρησον· οὐδεὶς γὰρ ἀναμάρτητος, εἰμὴ σὺ ὁ δυνάμενος, καὶ τοῖς μεταστᾶσι δοῦναι τὴν ἀνάπαυσιν.	Remember Your servants, O Lord, since You are good, and forgive them for all their sins in life; for no one is without sin except for You who are able to give rest to those who have passed away. [SD]

Μήτηρ ἁγία, ἡ τοῦ ἀφράστου Φωτός, ἀγγελικοῖς σε ὕμνοις τιμῶντες, εὐσεβῶς μεγαλύνομεν.	Holy Mother of the immaculate Light, we honor you with angelic hymns, and magnify you piously. [SD]
Ἀναγινώσκεται τὸ οἰκεῖον Κάθισμα τοῦ Ψαλτηρίου, ἤτοι Κάθισμα 16. Μεθʼ ὃ ἡ μικρὰ Συναπτή.	The appointed Kathisma of the Psalter may be read, i.e. Kathisma 16. Then the short litany.

Τῆς παναγίας, ἀχράντου, ὑπερευλογημένης, ἐνδόξου, δεσποίνης ἡμῶν Θεοτόκου καὶ ἀειπαρθένου Μαρίας μετὰ πάντων τῶν ἁγίων μνημονεύσαντες, ἑαυτοὺς καὶ ἀλλήλους καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν ζωὴν ἡμῶν Χριστῷ τῷ Θεῷ παραθώμεθα.	Remembering our all-holy, immaculate, most blessed, and glorious Lady, the Theotokos and ever-virgin Mary, with all the saints, let us commend ourselves and one another and our whole life to Christ our God.

Κύριε, τὸ ποτήριον τοῦ πάθους σου, οἱ Ἀθλοφόροι σου ζηλώσαντες, κατέλιπον τὴν τοῦ βίου τερπνότητα, καὶ γεγόνασι τῶν Ἀγγέλων συμμέτοχοι. Αὐτῶν ταῖς παρακλήσεσι, παράσχου ταῖς ψυχαῖς ἡμῶν, ἱλασμὸν ἁμαρτιῶν, καὶ τὸ μέγα ἔλεος.	Lord, Your medal-winning martyrs longed to drink the cup of Your Passion. So they forsook the delights of this life, and they became partners with the Angels. At their supplications, grant to our souls forgiveness of sins and the great mercy. [SD]

Τὰ θαύματα τῶν ἁγίων σου Μαρτύρων, τεῖχος ἀκαταμάχητον, ἡμῖν δωρησάμενος Χριστὲ ὁ Θεός, ταῖς αὐτῶν ἱκεσίαις, βουλὰς ἐθνῶν διασκέδασον, τῆς βασιλείας τὰ σκῆπτρα κραταίωσον, ὡς μόνος ἀγαθὸς καὶ φιλάνθρωπος.	You have given us the miracles of Your holy Martyrs as an impregnable fortress, O Christ our God. Διωγμοὺς καὶ κινδύνους ὑπεριδόντες, καὶ τυράννων τὰ θράση μὴ πτοηθέντες, παῤῥησίᾳ τὸν Χριστὸν ἀνεκήρυττον καὶ βασάνων αἰκισμοὺς ὑπομείναντες στεῤῥῶς, εἰδώλων πλάνην καθεῖλον, καὶ κράτος τοῦ Διαβόλου, οἱ Ἀθλοφόροι σαφῶς νικήσαντες.	Disregarding the perils and persecutions, * and not frightened by tyrants and their audacity, * medal-winning Martyrs publicly proclaimed Christ, * and as they steadfastly endured being tortured they were shown to be victorious clearly, * and they brought down the deception of the idols and the devil’s might. Ἀνάπαυσον Σωτὴρ ἡμῶν, μετὰ Δικαίων τοὺς δούλους σου, καὶ τούτους κατασκήνωσον ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς σου, καθὼς γέγραπται, παρορῶν ὡς ἀγαθός, τὰ πλημμελήματα αὐτῶν, τὰ ἑκούσια, καὶ τὰ ἀκούσια, καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐν ἀγνοίᾳ καὶ γνώσει φιλάνθρωπε.	O Savior, let Your servants repose with the righteous, and let them dwell in Your courts, according to the Scriptures. Στάσις Αʹ	First Stanza.
Εὐλογητὸς εἶ Κύριε, δίδαξόν με τὰ δικαιώματά σου.	Blessed are You, O Lord; teach me Your ordinances. [SAAS]
Μακάριοι οἱ ἄμωμοι ἐν ὁδῷ, οἱ πορευόμενοι ἐν νόμῳ Κυρίου.	Blessed are the blameless in the way who walk in the law of the Lord.
Μακάριοι οἱ ἐξερευνῶντες τὰ μαρτύρια αὐτοῦ, ἐν ὅλῃ καρδίᾳ ἐκζητήσουσιν αὐτόν.	Blessed are those who search out His testimonies; they shall search for Him with their whole heart.
Οὐ γὰρ οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν ἀνομίαν, ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτοῦ ἐπορεύθησαν.	For those who work lawlessness do not walk in His ways.
Σὺ ἐνετείλω τὰς ἐντολάς σου, τοῦ φυλάξασθαι σφόδρα.	You commanded us regarding Your commandments, that we should be very diligent to keep them.
Ὄφελον κατευθυνθείησαν αἱ ὁδοί μου τοῦ φυλάξασθαι τὰ δικαιώματά σου.	Would that my ways were led, that I might keep Your ordinances.
Τότε οὐ μὴ αἰσχυνθῶ ἐν τῷ με ἐπιβλέπειν ἐπὶ πάσας τὰς ἐντολάς σου.	Then I would not be ashamed when I regard all Your commandments.
Ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι ἐν εὐθύτητι καρδίας ἐν τῷ μεμαθηκέναι με τὰ κρίματα τῆς δικαιοσύνης σου.	I will give thanks to You, O Lord, with an upright heart, when I learn the judgments of Your righteousness.
Τὰ δικαιώματά σου φυλάξω, μή με ἐγκαταλίπῃς ἕως σφόδρα.	I shall keep Your ordinances; do not utterly forsake me.
Εν τίνι κατορθώσει νεώτερος τὴν ὁδὸν αὐτοῦ; ἐν τῷ φυλάξασθαι τοὺς λόγους σου.	How shall a young man keep his way straight? when he keeps Your words.
Ἐν ὅλῃ καρδίᾳ μου ἐξεζήτησά σε· μὴ ἀπώσῃ με ἀπὸ τῶν ἐντολῶν σου.	I searched for You with my whole heart; do not drive me away from Your commandments.
Ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ μου ἔκρυψα τὰ λόγιά σου, ὅπως ἂν μὴ ἁμάρτω σοι.	I hid Your teachings in my heart so as not to sin against You.
Εὐλογητὸς εἶ Κύριε, δίδαξόν με τὰ δικαιώματά σου.	Blessed are You, O Lord; teach me Your ordinances.
Ἐν τοῖς χείλεσί μου ἐξήγγειλα πάντα τὰ κρίματα τοῦ στόματός σου.	With my lips I declared all the judgments of Your mouth.
Ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ τῶν μαρτυρίων σου ἐτέρφθην ὡς ἐπὶ παντὶ πλούτῳ.	I delight in the way of Your testimonies as much as in all riches.
Ἐν ταῖς ἐντολαῖς σου ἀδολεσχήσω καὶ κατανοήσω τὰς ὁδούς σου.	I shall meditate on Your commandments, and I shall understand Your ways.
Ἐν τοῖς δικαιώμασί σου μελετήσω, οὐκ ἐπιλήσομαι τῶν λόγων σου.	I shall meditate on Your ordinances; I shall not forget Your words.
Ανταπόδος τῷ δούλῳ σου· ζήσομαι καὶ φυλάξω τοὺς λόγους σου.	Reward Your servant; I shall live, and keep Your words.
Ἀποκάλυψον τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς μου, καὶ κατανοήσω τὰ θαυμάσια ἐκ τοῦ νόμου σου.	Unveil my eyes, and I shall understand the wonders in Your law.
Πάροικος ἐγώ εἰμι ἐν τῇ γῇ, μὴ ἀποκρύψῃς ἀπʼ ἐμοῦ τὰς ἐντολάς σου.	I am a sojourner on the earth; do not hide Your commandments from me.
Ἐπεπόθησεν ἡ ψυχή μου, τοῦ ἐπιθυμῆσαι τὰ κρίματά σου ἐν παντὶ καιρῷ.	My soul longed to desire Your judgments in every season.
Ἐπετίμησας ὑπερηφάνοις, ἐπικατάρατοι οἱ ἐκκλίνοντες ἀπὸ τῶν ἐντολῶν σου.	You rebuke the arrogant; those who turn aside from Your commandments are accursed.
Περίελε ἀπʼ ἐμοῦ ὄνειδος καὶ ἐξουδένωσιν, ὅτι τὰ μαρτύριά σου ἐξεζήτησα.	Take away reproach and contempt from me, for I searched Your testimonies.
Καὶ γὰρ ἐκάθισαν ἄρχοντες καὶ κατʼ ἐμοῦ κατελάλουν, ὁ δὲ δοῦλός σου ἠδολέσχει ἐν τοῖς δικαιώμασί σου.	For rulers sat and spoke against me, but Your servant meditated on Your ordinances.
Καὶ γὰρ τὰ μαρτύριά σου μελέτη μού ἐστι, καὶ αἱ συμβουλίαι μου τὰ δικαιώματά σου.	For Your testimonies are my meditation, and Your ordinances are my counsels.
Ἐκολλήθη τῷ ἐδάφει ἡ ψυχή μου, ζῆσόν με κατὰ τὸν λόγον σου.	My soul cleaves to the earth; give me life according to Your word.
Τὰς ὁδούς μου ἐξήγγειλα, καὶ ἐπήκουσάς μου, δίδαξόν με τὰ δικαιώματά σου.	I made known my ways and You heard me; teach me Your ordinances.
Ὁδὸν δικαιωμάτων σου συνέτισόν με, καὶ ἀδολεσχήσω ἐν τοῖς θαυμασίοις σου.	Cause me to understand the way of Your ordinances, and I shall meditate on Your wonders.
Ἐνύσταξεν ἡ ψυχή μου ἀπὸ ἀκηδίας, βεβαίωσόν με ἐν τοῖς λόγοις σου.	My soul fainted because of its listlessness; establish me in Your words.
Ὁδὸν ἀδικίας ἀπόστησον ἀπʼ ἐμοῦ καὶ τῷ νόμῳ σου ἐλέησόν με.	Remove the way of unrighteousness from me, and with Your law have mercy on me.
Ὁδὸν ἀληθείας ᾑρετισάμην, καὶ τὰ κρίματά σου οὐκ ἐπελαθόμην.	I chose the way of truth; I have not forgotten Your judgments.
Ἐκολλήθην τοῖς μαρτυρίοις σου, Κύριε· μή με καταισχύνῃς.	I cleave to Your testimonies; O Lord, do not disappoint me.
Ὁδὸν ἐντολῶν σου ἔδραμον, ὅταν ἐπλάτυνας τὴν καρδίαν μου.	I ran on the path of Your commandments, when You enlarged my heart.
Νομοθέτησόν με, Κύριε, τὴν ὁδὸν τῶν δικαιωμάτων σου, καὶ ἐκζητήσω αὐτὴν διὰ παντός.	Give me as law, O Lord, the way of Your ordinances, and I shall always search them.
Συνέτισόν με, καὶ ἐξερευνήσω τὸν νόμον σου καὶ φυλάξω αὐτὸν ἐν ὅλῃ καρδίᾳ μου.	Cause me to understand, and I shall search out Your law; and I shall keep it with my whole heart.
Ὁδήγησόν με ἐν τῇ τρίβῳ τῶν ἐντολῶν σου, ὅτι αὐτὴν ἠθέλησα.	Guide me in the path of Your commandments, for I desire it.
Κλῖνον τὴν καρδίαν μου εἰς τὰ μαρτύριά σου, καὶ μὴ εἰς πλεονεξίαν.	Incline my heart to Your testimonies and not to greediness.
Ἀπόστρεψον τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς μου, τοῦ μὴ ἰδεῖν ματαιότητα, ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ σου ζῆσόν με.	Turn away my eyes that I may not see vanity; give me life in Your way.
Στῆσον τῷ δούλῳ σου τὸ λόγιόν σου εἰς τὸν φόβον σου.	Establish Your teaching in Your servant In regard to Your fear.
Περίελε τὸν ὀνειδισμόν μου, ὃν ὑπώπτευσα· ὅτι τὰ κρίματά σου χρηστά.	Take away my blame, which I have suspected, for Your judgments are good.
Ἰδοὺ ἐπεθύμησα τὰς ἐντολάς σου, ἐν τῇ δικαιοσύνῃ σου ζῆσόν με.	Behold, I long for Your commandments; give me life in Your righteousness.
Καὶ ἔλθοι ἐπʼ ἐμὲ τὸ ἔλεός σου, Κύριε, τὸ σωτήριόν σου κατὰ τὸν λόγον σου.	And may Your mercy come upon me, O Lord, Your salvation according to Your teaching.
Καὶ ἀποκριθήσομαι τοῖς ὀνειδίζουσί μοι λόγον, ὅτι ἤλπισα ἐπὶ τοῖς λόγοις σου.	And I shall answer those who insult me with a word, for I hope in Your words.
Καὶ μὴ περιέλῃς ἐκ τοῦ στόματός μου λόγον ἀληθείας ἕως σφόδρα, ὅτι ἐπὶ τοῖς κρίμασί σου ἐπήλπισα.	Do not take away the word of truth completely from my mouth, for I hope in Your judgments.
Καὶ φυλάξω τὸν νόμον σου διαπαντὸς εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα, καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος.	So I shall keep Your law always, forever and unto ages of ages.
Καὶ ἐπορευόμην ἐν πλατυσμῷ, ὅτι τὰς ἐντολάς σου ἐξεζήτησα.	And I walk in a broad space, for I searched Your commandments.
Καὶ ἐλάλουν ἐν τοῖς μαρτυρίοις σου ἐναντίον βασιλέων, καὶ οὐκ ᾐσχυνόμην.	I spoke of Your testimonies before kings, and I was not ashamed.
Καὶ ἐμελέτων ἐν ταῖς ἐντολαῖς σου, ἃς ἠγάπησα σφόδρα.	And I meditate on Your commandments, which I love exceedingly.
Καὶ ἦρα τὰς χεῖράς μου πρὸς τὰς ἐντολάς σου, ἃς ἠγάπησα, καὶ ἠδολέσχουν ἐν τοῖς δικαιώμασί σου.	And I raise my hands to Your commandments, which I love. And I meditate on Your ordinances.
Μνήσθητι τῶν λόγων σου τῷ δούλῳ σου, ὧν ἐπήλπισάς με.	Remember Your word to Your servant, in which You give me hope.
Αὕτη με παρεκάλεσεν ἐν τῇ ταπεινώσει μου, ὅτι τὸ λόγιόν σου ἔζησέ με.	This comforted me in my humiliation, for Your teaching gives me life.
Ὑπερήφανοι παρηνόμουν ἕως σφόδρα, ἀπὸ δὲ τοῦ νόμου σου οὐκ ἐξέκλινα.	The arrogant transgressed exceedingly, but I did not turn away from Your law.
Ἐμνήσθην τῶν κριμάτων σου ἀπʼ αἰῶνος, Κύριε, καὶ παρεκλήθην.	I remembered Your judgments of old, O Lord, and I was comforted.
Ἀθυμία κατέσχε με ἀπὸ ἁμαρτωλῶν, τῶν ἐγκαταλιμπανόντων τὸν νόμον σου.	Despondency held me because of sinners who abandon Your law.
Ψαλτὰ ἦσάν μοι τὰ δικαιώματά σου ἐν τόπῳ παροικίας μου.	Your ordinances were sung to me In the place of my sojourning.
Ἐμνήσθην ἐν νυκτὶ τοῦ ὀνόματός σου, Κύριε, καὶ ἐφύλαξα τὸν νόμον σου.	I remembered Your name in the night, O Lord, and I kept Your law.
Αὕτη ἐγενήθη μοι, ὅτι τὰ δικαιώματά σου ἐξεζήτησα.	This happened to me in the night, because I searched Your ordinances.
Μερίς μου εἶ, Κύριε, εἶπα τοῦ φυλάξασθαι τὸν νόμον σου.	You are my portion, O Lord; I said I will keep Your law.
Ἐδεήθην τοῦ προσώπου σου ἐν ὅλῃ καρδίᾳ μου, ἐλέησόν με κατὰ τὸ λόγιόν σου.	I sought Your presence with my whole heart; have mercy on me according to Your teaching.
Διελογισάμην τὰς ὁδούς σου, καὶ ἐπέστρεψα τοὺς πόδας μου εἰς τὰ μαρτύριά σου.	I considered Your ways, and I turned my feet toward Your testimonies.
Ἡτοιμάσθην, καὶ οὐκ ἐταράχθην, τοῦ φυλάξασθαι τὰς ἐντολάς σου.	I prepared myself, and I was not troubled, that I might keep Your commandments.
Σχοινία ἁμαρτωλῶν περιεπλάκησάν μοι, καὶ τοῦ νόμου σου οὐκ ἐπελαθόμην.	The ropes of sinners ensnared me, but I did not forget Your law.
Μεσονύκτιον ἐξηγειρόμην, τοῦ ἐξομολογεῖσθαί σοι ἐπὶ τὰ κρίματα τῆς δικαιοσύνης σου.	At midnight I arose to give thanks to You because of the judgments of Your righteousness.
Μέτοχος ἐγώ εἰμι πάντων τῶν φοβουμένων σε καὶ τῶν φυλασσόντων τὰς ἐντολάς σου.	I am a companion of all who fear You and keep Your commandments.
Τοῦ ἐλέους σου, Κύριε, πλήρης ἡ γῆ· τὰ δικαιώματά σου δίδαξόν με.	Lord, the earth is full of Your mercy; teach me Your ordinances.

Χρηστότητα καὶ παιδείαν καὶ γνῶσιν δίδαξόν με, ὅτι ταῖς ἐντολαῖς σου ἐπίστευσα.	Teach me goodness, instruction, and knowledge, for I believe Your commandments.
Πρὸ τοῦ με ταπεινωθῆναι ἐγὼ ἐπλημμέλησα, διὰ τοῦτο τὸ λόγιόν σου ἐφύλαξα.	Before I was humbled, I transgressed; therefore, I kept Your teaching.
Χρηστὸς εἶ σύ, Κύριε, καὶ ἐν τῇ χρηστότητί σου δίδαξόν με τὰ δικαιώματά σου.	You are good, O Lord, and in Your goodness teach me Your ordinances.
Ἐπληθύνθη ἐπʼ ἐμὲ ἀδικία ὑπερηφάνων, ἐγὼ δὲ ἐν ὅλῃ καρδίᾳ μου ἐξερευνήσω τὰς ἐντολάς σου.	The unrighteousness of the arrogant multiplied against me, but I will search out Your commandments with my whole heart.
Ἐτυρώθη ὡς γάλα ἡ καρδία αὐτῶν, ἐγὼ δὲ τὸν νόμον σου ἐμελέτησα.	Their heart was curdled like milk, but I meditated on Your law.
Ἀγαθόν μοι ὅτι ἐταπείνωσάς με, ὅπως ἂν μάθω τὰ δικαιώματά σου.	It is good for me that You humbled me, that I might learn Your ordinances.
Ἀγαθός μοι ὁ νόμος τοῦ στόματός σου ὑπὲρ χιλιάδας χρυσίου καὶ ἀργυρίου.	The law of Your mouth is good for me, rather than thousands of pieces of gold and silver.
Αἱ χεῖρές σου ἐποίησάν με καὶ ἔπλασάν με· συνέτισόν με καὶ μαθήσομαι τὰς ἐντολάς σου.	Your hands made and fashioned me; instruct me, and I will learn Your commandments.
Οἱ φοβούμενοί σε ὄψονταί με καὶ εὐφρανθήσονται, ὅτι εἰς τοὺς λόγους σου ἐπήλπισα.	Those who fear You will see me and be glad, because I hope in Your words.
Ἔγνων, Κύριε, ὅτι δικαιοσύνη τὰ κρίματά σου, καὶ ἀληθείᾳ ἐταπείνωσάς με.	I know, O Lord, Your judgments are righteousness, and You humbled me with truth.
Γενηθήτω δὴ τὸ ἔλεός σου τοῦ παρακαλέσαι με κατὰ τὸ λόγιόν σου τῷ δούλῳ σου.	Let Your mercy be for my comfort, according to Your teaching to Your servant.
Ἐλθέτωσάν μοι οἱοἰκτιρμοί σου, καὶ ζήσομαι, ὅτι ὁ νόμος σου μελέτη μού ἐστιν.	Let Your compassions come to me, and I shall live; for Your law is my meditation.
Αἰσχυνθήτωσαν ὑπερήφανοι, ὅτι ἀδίκως ἠνόμησαν εἰς ἐμέ· ἐγὼ δὲ ἀδολεσχήσω ἐν ταῖς ἐντολαῖς σου.	Let the arrogant be shamed, for they transgressed unjustly against me; but I shall meditate on Your commandments.
Ἐπιστρεψάτωσάν με οἱ φοβούμενοί σε καὶ οἱ γινώσκοντες τὰ μαρτύριά σου.	Let those who fear You turn to me, and those who know Your testimonies.
Γενηθήτω ἡ καρδία μου ἄμωμος ἐν τοῖς δικαιώμασί σου, ὅπως ἂν μὴ αἰσχυνθῶ.	Let my heart be blameless in Your ordinances, that I may not be disappointed.
Ἐκλείπει εἰς τὸ σωτήριόν σου ἡ ψυχή μου, εἰς τοὺς λόγους σου ἐπήλπισα.	My soul earnestly longs for Your salvation, and I hope in Your word.
Ἐξέλιπον οἱ ὀφθαλμοί μου εἰς τὸ λόγιόν σου λέγοντες· πότε παρακαλέσεις με;	My eyes strained to look at Your teaching, saying, “When will You comfort me?”
Ὅτι ἐγενήθην ὡς ἀσκὸς ἐν πάχνῃ· τὰ δικαιώματά σου οὐκ ἐπελαθόμην.	I am like a leather bag in a frost; I did not forget Your ordinances.
Πόσαι εἰσὶν αἱ ἡμέραι τοῦ δούλου σου; πότε ποιήσεις μοι ἐκ τῶν καταδιωκόντων με κρίσιν;	How many are the days of Your servant? When will You execute judgment for me upon those who persecute me?
Διηγήσαντό μοι παράνομοι ἀδολεσχίας, ἀλλʼ οὐχ ὡς ὁ νόμος σου, Κύριε.	Transgressors described their meditations to me, but these are not like Your law, O Lord.
Πᾶσαι αἱ ἐντολαί σου ἀλήθεια· ἀδίκως κατεδίωξάν με, βοήθησόν μοι.	All Your commandments are truth; they persecuted me unjustly; help me.
Παρὰ βραχὺ συνετέλεσάν με ἐν τῇ γῇ, ἐγὼ δὲ οὐκ ἐγκατέλιπον τὰς ἐντολάς σου.	They almost ended my life on earth, but I did not forsake Your commandments.
Κατὰ τὸ ἔλεός σου ζῆσόν με, καὶ φυλάξω τὰ μαρτύρια τοῦ στόματός σου.	Give me life according to Your mercy, and I shall keep the testimonies of Your mouth.
Εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα, Κύριε, ὁ λόγος σου διαμένει ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ.	Forever, O Lord, Your word continues in heaven.
Εἰς γενεὰν καὶ γενεὰν ἡ ἀλήθειά σου· ἐθεμελίωσας τὴν γῆν καὶ διαμένει.	Your truth continues from generation to generation; You laid the foundation of the earth, and it continues.

Πάσης συντελείας εἶδον πέρας· πλατεῖα ἡ ἐντολήσου σφόδρα.	I saw the limit of every accomplishment; Your commandment is exceedingly broad.
Ὡς ἠγάπησα τὸν νόμον σου, Κύριε· ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν μελέτη μού ἐστιν.	How I love Your law, O Lord; It is my meditation the whole day long.

Ἐκ πάσης ὁδοῦ πονηρᾶς ἐκώλυσα τοὺς πόδας μου, ὅπως ἂν φυλάξω τοὺς λόγους σου.	I withheld my feet from every evil way, that I might keep Your words.
Ἀπὸ τῶν κριμάτων σου οὐκ ἐξέκλινα, ὅτι σὺ ἐνομοθέτησάς με.	I did not turn away from Your judgments, for You taught me Your law.
Ὡς γλυκέα τῷ λάρυγγί μου τὰ λόγιά σου, ὑπὲρ μέλι τῷ στόματί μου.	How sweet to my taste are Your teachings, more than honey and the honeycomb in my mouth.
Ἀπὸ τῶν ἐντολῶν σου συνῆκα· διὰ τοῦτο ἐμίσησα πᾶσαν ὁδὸν ἀδικίας.	I gained understanding because of Your commandments; therefore, I hate every unrighteous way.
Λύχνος τοῖς ποσί μου ὁ νόμος σου καὶ φῶς ταῖς τρίβοις μου.	Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my paths.
Ὤμοσα καὶ ἔστησα τοῦφυλάξασθαι τὰ κρίματα τῆς δικαιοσύνης σου.	I swore and confirmed that I would keep the judgments of Your righteousness.
Ἐταπεινώθην ἕως σφόδρα· Κύριε, ζῆσόν με κατὰ τὸν λόγον σου.	I was humbled exceedingly; O Lord, give me life according to Your word.
Τὰ ἑκούσια τοῦ στόματός μου εὐδόκησον δή, Κύριε, καὶ τὰ κρίματά σου δίδαξόν με.	Be well-pleased with the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Lord, and teach me Your judgments.
Ἡ ψυχή μου ἐν ταῖς χερσί σου διαπαντός, καὶ τοῦ νόμου σου οὐκ ἐπελαθόμην.	My soul is always in Your hands, and I have not forgotten Your law.
Ἔθεντο ἁμαρτωλοὶ παγίδα μοι, καὶ ἐκ τῶν ἐντολῶν σου οὐκ ἐπλανήθην.	Sinners set snares for me, but I did not wander from Your commandments.
Ἐκληρονόμησα τὰ μαρτύριά σου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα, ὅτι ἀγαλλίαμα τῆς καρδίας μού εἰσιν.	I inherited Your testimonies forever, for these are the exceeding joy of my heart.
Ἔκλινα τὴν καρδίαν μου τοῦ ποιῆσαι τὰ δικαιώματά σου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα διʼ ἀντάμειψιν.	I inclined my heart to do Your ordinances forever for a reward.
Παρανόμους ἐμίσησα, τὸν δὲ νόμον σου ἠγάπησα.	Transgressors I hate, but I love Your law.
Βοηθός μου, καὶ ἀντιλήπτωρ μου εἶσύ· εἰς τοὺς λόγους σου ἐπήλπισα.	You are my helper and my protector; I hope in Your word.
Ἐκκλίνατε ἀπʼ ἐμοῦ, πονηρευόμενοι, καὶ ἐξερευνήσω τὰς ἐντολὰς τοῦ Θεοῦ μου.	Turn away from me, you evildoers, and I shall search out the commandments of my God.
Ἀντιλαβοῦ μου κατὰ τὸ λόγιόν σου, καὶ ζῆσόν με, καὶ μὴ καταισχύνῃς με ἀπὸ τῆς προσδοκίας μου.	Uphold me according to Your teaching, and give me life; and may You not disappoint my expectation.
Βοήθησόν μοι, καὶ σωθήσομαι καὶ μελετήσω ἐν τοῖς δικαιώμασί σου διαπαντός.	Help me, and I shall be saved; and I shall meditate always in Your ordinances.
Ἐξουδένωσας πάντας τοὺς ἀποστατοῦντας ἀπὸ τῶν δικαιωμάτων σου, ὅτι ἄδικον τὸ ἐνθύμημα αὐτῶν.	You set at naught all who departed from Your ordinances, for their thought is unrighteous.
Παραβαίνοντας ἐλογισάμην πάντας τοὺς ἁμαρτωλοὺς τῆς γῆς· διὰ τοῦτο ἠγάπησα τὰ μαρτύριά σου.	I counted as transgressors all the sinners of the earth; for this reason I always love Your testimonies.
Καθήλωσον ἐκ τοῦ φόβου σου τὰς σάρκας μου· ἀπὸ γὰρ τῶν κριμάτων σου ἐφοβήθην.	Nail my flesh with the fear of You, for I fear You because of Your judgments.
Ἐποίησα κρῖμα καὶ δικαιοσύνην· μὴ παραδῷς με τοῖς ἀδικοῦσί με.	I work judgment and righteousness; do not deliver me to those who wrong me.
Ἔκδεξαι τὸν δοῦλόν σου εἰς ἀγαθόν· μὴ συκοφαντησάτωσάν με ὑπερήφανοι.	Take Your servant to that which is good; do not let the arrogant falsely accuse me.
Οἱ ὀφθαλμοί μου ἐξέλιπον εἰς τὸ σωτήριόν σου καὶ εἰς τὸ λόγιον τῆς δικαιοσύνης σου.	My eyes strained to look at Your salvation and at the teaching of Your righteousness.
Ποίησον μετὰ τοῦ δούλου σου κατὰ τὸ ἔλεός σου καὶ τὰ δικαιώματά σου δίδαξόν με.	Deal with Your servant according to Your mercy and teach me Your ordinances.
Δοῦλός σού εἰμι ἐγώ· συνέτισόν με, καὶ γνώσομαι τὰ μαρτύριά σου.	I am Your servant; cause me to understand, and I shall know Your testimonies.
Καιρὸς τοῦ ποιῆσαι τῷ Κυρίῳ· διεσκέδασαν τὸν νόμον σου.	It is time for the Lord to act; they broke Your law.
Διὰ τοῦτο ἠγάπησα τὰς ἐντολάς σου ὑπὲρ χρυσίον καὶ τοπάζιον.	For this reason I love Your commandments more than gold and topaz.
Διὰ τοῦτο πρὸς πάσας τὰς ἐντολάς σου κατωρθούμην, πᾶσαν ὁδὸν ἄδικον ἐμίσησα.	Therefore I directed myself to all Your commandments; I hated every unrighteous way.
Θαυμαστὰ τὰ μαρτύριά σου· διὰ τοῦτο ἐξηρεύνησεν αὐτὰ ἡ ψυχή μου.	Wondrous are Your testimonies; for this reason my soul searches them out.
Ἡ δήλωσις τῶν λόγων σου φωτιεῖ καὶ συνετιεῖ νηπίους.	The revelation of Your words gives light, and it causes children to understand.
Τὸ στόμα μου ἤνοιξα καὶ εἵλκυσα πνεῦμα, ὅτι τὰς ἐντολάς σου ἐπεπόθουν.	I opened my mouth and drew in my breath, for I longed for Your commandments.
Ἐπίβλεψον ἐπʼ ἐμὲ καὶ ἐλέησόν με κατὰ τὸ κρίμα τῶν ἀγαπώντων τὸ ὄνομά σου.	Look upon me and have mercy on me, according to the judgment of those who love Your name.
Τὰ διαβήματά μου κατεύθυνον κατὰ τὸ λόγιόν σου, καὶ μὴ κατακυριευσάτω μου πᾶσα ἀνομία.	Direct my steps according to Your teaching and let no lawlessness rule over me.
Λύτρωσαί με ἀπὸ συκοφαντίας ἀνθρώπων, καὶ φυλάξω τὰς ἐντολάς σου.	Ransom me from the slander of men, and I will keep Your commandments.
Τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἐπίφανον ἐπὶ τὸν δοῦλόν σου καὶ δίδαξόν με τὰ δικαιώματά σου.	Make Your face shine upon Your servant and teach me Your ordinances.
Διεξόδους ὑδάτων κατέδυσαν οἱ ὀφθαλμοί μου, ἐπεὶ οὐκ ἐφύλαξα τὸν νόμον σου.	My eyes poured down streams of tears because they did not keep Your law.
Δίκαιος εἶ, Κύριε, καὶ εὐθεῖαι αἱ κρίσεις σου.	Righteous are You, O Lord, and upright is Your judgment.
Ἐνετείλω δικαιοσύνην τὰ μαρτύριά σου καὶ ἀλήθειαν σφόδρα.	You commanded Your testimonies exceedingly in righteousness and truth.
Ἐξέτηξέ με ὁ ζῆλός σου, ὅτι ἐπελάθοντο τῶν λόγων σου οἱ ἐχθροί μου.	The zeal of Your house caused me to yearn for home, for my enemies forgot Your words.
Πεπυρωμένον τὸ λόγιόν σου σφόδρα, καὶ ὁ δοῦλός σου ἠγάπησεν αὐτό.	Your teaching is exceedingly purified in fire, and Your servant loves it.
Νεώτερος ἐγώ εἰμι καὶ ἐξουδενωμένος· τὰ δικαιώματά σου οὐκ ἐπελαθόμην.	I am young, and beheld as nothing, but I have not forgotten Your ordinances.

Προέφθασα ἐν ἀωρίᾳ καὶ ἐκέκραξα, εἰς τοὺς λόγους σου ἐπήλπισα.	I arose at midnight and cried out; I hoped in Your words.
Προέφθασαν οἱ ὀφθαλμοί μου πρὸς ὄρθρον τοῦ μελετᾶν τὰ λόγιά σου.	My eyes awoke before dawn that I might meditate on Your teachings.
Τῆς φωνῆς μου ἄκουσον, Κύριε, κατὰ τὸ ἔλεός σου, κατὰ τὸ κρῖμά σου ζῆσόν με.	Hear my voice, O Lord, according to Your mercy; give me life according to Your judgment.
Προσήγγισαν οἱ καταδιώκοντές με ἀνομίᾳ, ἀπὸ δὲ τοῦ νόμου σου ἐμακρύνθησαν.	Those who persecute me in lawlessness drew near; they are far removed from Your law.
Ἐγγὺς εἶ, Κύριε, καὶ πᾶσαι αἱ ὁδοί σου ἀλήθεια.	You are near, O Lord; all Your commandments are truth.
Κατʼ ἀρχὰς ἔγνων ἐκ τῶν μαρτυρίων σου, ὅτι εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα ἐθεμελίωσας αὐτά.	From the beginning I knew Your testimonies, that You established them forever.
Ἔδε τὴν ταπείνωσίν μου καὶ ἐξελοῦ με, ὅτι τοῦ νόμου σου οὐκ ἐπελαθόμην.	Behold my humiliation and deliver me, for I have not forgotten Your law.
Κρῖνον τὴν κρίσιν μου καὶ λύτρωσαί με· διὰ τὸν λόγον σου ζῆσόν με.	Plead my cause and redeem me; give me life because of Your word.
Μακρὰν ἀπὸ ἁμαρτωλῶν σωτηρία, ὅτι τὰ δικαιώματά σου οὐκ ἐξεζήτησαν.	Salvation is far from sinners, for they have not searched Your ordinances.
Οἱ οἰκτιρμοί σου πολλοί, Κύριε· κατὰ τὸ κρῖμά σου ζῆσόν με.	Your compassions are many, O Lord; give me life according to Your judgment.
Πολλοὶ οἱ ἐκδιώκοντές με καὶ θλίβοντές με· ἐκ τῶν μαρτυρίων σου οὐκ ἐξέκλινα.	Many are those who pursue and afflict me, but I did not turn away from Your testimonies.
Εἶδον ἀσυνετοῦντας καὶ ἐξετηκόμην, ὅτι τὰ λόγιά σου οὐκ ἐφυλάξαντο.	I saw those acting foolishly, and I yearned for You; for they did not keep Your teachings.
Ἴδε, ὅτι τὰς ἐντολάς σου ἠγάπησα· Κύριε, ἐν τῷ ἐλέει σου ζῆσόν με.	Behold, I love Your commandments; O Lord, in Your mercy, give me life.

Ἄρχοντες κατεδίωξάν με δωρεάν, καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν λόγων σου ἐδειλίασεν ἡ καρδία μου.	Rulers persecuted me without cause, but my heart feared because of Your words.
Ἀγαλλιάσομαι ἐγὼ ἐπὶ τὰ λόγιά σου ὡς ὁ εὑρίσκων σκῦλα πολλά.	I shall greatly rejoice in Your teachings, like one finding great spoil.
Ἀδικίαν ἐμίσησα καὶ ἐβδελυξάμην, τὸν δὲ νόμον σου ἠγάπησα.	I hate and abhor unrighteousness, but I love Your law.

For we sinned and acted lawlessly to depart from You. We sinned in every way, and did not obey Your commandments. Neither did we treasure or do as You commanded, that it might go well with us. [SAAS]

Καὶ νῦν οὐκ ἔστιν ἡμῖν ἀνοῖξαι τὸ στόμα ἡμῶν, αἰσχύνη καὶ ὄνειδος ἐγενήθημεν τοῖς δούλοις σου καὶ τοῖς σεβομένοις σε.	Now it is not for us to open our mouth, for this has become a shame and disgrace to Your servants and to those who worship You.
Μὴ δὴ παραδῴης ἡμᾶς εἰς τέλος, διὰ τὸ ὄνομά σου τὸ ἅγιον, καὶ μὴ διασκεδάσῃς τὴν διαθήκην σου, καὶ μὴ ἀποστήσῃς τὸ ἔλεός σου ἀφʼ ἡμῶν, διὰ Ἀβραὰμ τὸν ἠγαπημένον ὑπὸ σοῦ, καὶ διὰ Ἰσαὰκ τὸν δοῦλόν σου, καὶ Ἰσραὴλ τὸν ἅγιόν σου.	For Your name’s sake, do not hand us over to the end, and do not reject Your covenant. Do not withdraw Your mercy from us for the sake of Abraham, who is loved by You, and for the sake of Isaac, Your servant, and of Israel, Your holy one.
Οἷς ἐλάλησας πληθῦναι τὸ σπέρμα αὐτῶν, ὡς τὰ ἄστρα τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, καὶ ὡς τὴν ἄμμον τὴν παρὰ τὸ χεῖλος τῆς θαλάσσης.	As You spoke to them, saying that You would multiply their seed as the stars of heaven, and as the sand along the seashore.
Ὅτι, Δέσποτα, ἑσμικρύνθημεν παρὰ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη καὶ ἐσμεν ταπεινοὶ ἐν πάσῃ γῇ σήμερον, διὰ τὰς ἁμαρτίας ἡμῶν.	Yet we have been diminished in number, O Master, more than all the nations, and we are humbled in all the earth today because of our sins.
Καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν τῷ καιρῷ τούτῳ ἄρχων, καὶ προφήτης, καὶ ἡγούμενος, οὐδὲ ὁλοκαύτωσις, οὐδὲ θυσία, οὐδὲ προσφορά, οὐδὲ θυμίαμα, οὐ τόπος τοῦ καρπῶσαι ἐνώπιόν σου, καὶ εὑρεῖν ἔλεος.	At this time, there is no prince, no prophet, and no leader; there is no whole burnt offering, no sacrifice, no offering, and no incense; there is no place to bear fruit before You and to find mercy.
Ἀλλʼ ἐν ψυχῇ συντετριμμένῃ καὶ πνεύματι ταπεινώσεως προσδεχθείημεν.	Yet with a contrite soul and humbled spirit, may we receive mercy.
Ὡς ἐν ὁλοκαυτώμασι κριῶν καὶ ταύρων, καὶ ὡς ἐν μυριάσιν ἀρνῶν πιόνων, οὕτω γενέσθω ἡ θυσία ἡμῶν εὐπρόσδεκτος ἐνώπιόν σου σήμερον, καὶ ἐκτελείσθω ὄπισθέν σου· ὅτι αἰσχύνη τοῖς πεποιθόσιν ἐπὶ σέ.	As with whole burnt offerings of rams and bulls, and as with thousands of fatted lambs, so let this be our sacrifice before You today, and may it be accomplished for those who follow You; for there is no shame for those who trust in You.
Καὶ νῦν ἐξακολουθοῦμεν ἐν ὅλῃ καρδίᾳ, καὶ φοβούμεθά σε, καὶ ζητοῦμεν τὸ πρόσωπόν σου, μὴ καταισχύνῃς ἡμᾶς.	Now we are following You with all our heart, and we fear You and seek Your face. Do not put us to shame.
Ἀλλὰ ποίησον μεθʼ ἡμῶν κατὰ τὴν ἐπιείκειάν σου, καὶ κατὰ τὸ πλῆθος τοῦ ἐλέους σου.	But deal with us according to Your kindness and according to the abundance of Your mercy.

Καὶ ἐντραπείησαν πάντες οἱ ἐνδεικνύμενοι τοῖς δούλοις σου κακά, καὶ καταισχυνθείησαν ἀπὸ πάσης δυναστείας, καὶ ἡ ἰσχὺς αὐτῶν συντριβείη.	May all those who inflict evils upon Your servants be put to shame and humiliated in their power; and let their strength be crushed.

Καὶ οὐ διέλιπον οἱ ἐμβαλόντες αὐτοὺς ὑπηρέται τοῦ βασιλέως, καίοντες τὴν κάμινον νάφθῃ καὶ πίσσῃ καὶ στυππίῳ καὶ κληματίδι.	Now the king’s servants who cast them in did not cease to stoke the furnace with naphtha, pitch, coarse fiber, and brushwood.
Καὶ διεχεῖτο ἡ φλὸξ ἐπάνω τῆς καμίνου ἐπὶ πήχεις τεσσαράκοντα ἐννέα, καὶ διώδευσε, καὶ ἐνεπύρισεν οὓς εὗρε περὶ τὴν κάμινον τῶν Χαλδαίων.	The flame shot forty-nine cubits above the furnace, and it broke out and burned those it found around the furnace of the Chaldeans.
Ὁ δὲ ἄγγελος Κυρίου συγκατέβη ἅμα τοῖς περὶ τὸν Ἀζαρίαν εἰς τὴν κάμινον, καὶ ἐξετίναξε τὴν φλόγα τοῦ πυρὸς ἐκ τῆς καμίνου.	But the Angel of the Lord went down into the furnace to join Azariah and his companions, and shook off the fiery flame of the furnace.
Καὶ ἐποίησε τὸ μέσον τῆς καμίνου ὡς πνεῦμα δρόσου διασυρίζον, καὶ οὐχ ἥψατο αὐτῶν καθόλου τὸ πῦρ, οὐδὲ ἐλύπησεν, οὐδὲ παρηνώχλησεν αὐτούς.	He made the inside of the furnace to be as though a dew-laden breeze were blowing through it, so the fire did not touch them at all, or cause them pain, or trouble them.

Ταῖς πρεσβείαις αὐτῶν, Χριστὲ ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν, τὴν εἰρήνην δώρησαι τῷ κόσμῳ σου, καὶ ταῖς ψυχαῖς ἡμῶν τὸ μέγα ἔλεος.	O Lord, Your medal-winning Martyrs imitated the angelic orders, by enduring the tortures as if they themselves were also bodiless. There singular hope was to obtain the promised blessings. At their intercession, grant peace to Your world, and great mercy to our souls, O Christ our God. [SD]

Αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν τυμπάνῳ καὶ χορῷ, αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν χορδαῖς καὶ ὀργάνῳ.	Praise Him with timbrel and dance; praise Him with strings and flute. [SAAS]
Οἱ ἅγιοι Μάρτυρες, ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἠγωνίσαντο, τῷ ἀέρι ἐνεκαρτέρησαν, τῷ πυρὶ παρεδόθησαν, τὸ ὕδωρ αὐτοὺς ὑπεδέξατο· ἐκείνων ἐστὶν ἡ φωνή· Διήλθομεν διὰ πυρός καὶ ὕδατος, καὶ ἐξήγαγες ἡμᾶς εἰς ἀναψυχήν. Ταῖς πρεσβείαις αὐτῶν, ὁ Θεός, ἐλέησον ἡμᾶς.	The holy Martyrs competed on the earth, endured exposure to the air, were delivered to the fire, and the water received them. To them belong the words, “We went through fire and water, and You led us into a refreshing place.” By their intercessions, O God, have mercy on us. [GOASD]

Instead of the physical injuries we are sustaining, He will dress us with a luminous garment in the resurrection. Instead of prison there is Paradise. And instead of being sentenced with criminals, we will be in the company of Angels.” O Lord, we pray You save our souls, at their supplications. [GOASD]
