Ἀδελφοί, ὁ καρπὸς τοῦ Πνεύματός ἐστιν ἀγάπη, χαρά, εἰρήνη, μακροθυμία, χρηστότης, ἀγαθωσύνη, πίστις, πρᾳότης, ἐγκράτεια· κατὰ τῶν τοιούτων οὐκ ἔστι νόμος. οἱ δὲ τοῦ Χριστοῦ τὴν σάρκα ἐσταύρωσαν σὺν τοῖς παθήμασι καὶ ταῖς ἐπιθυμίαις. Εἰ ζῶμεν Πνεύματι, πνεύματι καὶ στοιχῶμεν. μὴ γινώμεθα κενόδοξοι, ἀλλήλους προκαλούμενοι, ἀλλήλοις φθονοῦντες. Ἀδελφοί, ἐὰν καὶ προληφθῇ ἄνθρωπος ἔν τινι παραπτώματι, ὑμεῖς οἱ πνευματικοὶ καταρτίζετε τὸν τοιοῦτον ἐν πνεύματι πρᾳότητος, σκοπῶν σεαυτόν, μὴ καὶ σὺ πειρασθῇς. ἀλλήλων τὰ βάρη βαστάζετε, καὶ οὕτως ἀναπληρώσατε τὸν νόμον τοῦ Χριστοῦ.	Brethren, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Let us have no self-conceit, no provoking of one another, no envy of one another. Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Look to yourself, lest you too be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. [RSV]

At that time, as Jesus drew near to Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging; and hearing a multitude going by, he inquired what this meant. They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.” And he cried, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” And those who were in front rebuked him, telling him to be silent; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” And Jesus stopped, and commanded him to be brought to him; and when he came near, he asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, let me receive my sight.” And Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed him, glorifying God; and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God. Τῇ ΚΔʹ τοῦ αὐτοῦ μηνός, μνήμη τῆς Ἁγίας Μητρὸς ἡμῶν Ξένης, καὶ τῶν δύο αὐτῆς θεραπαινίδων.	On January 24 we commemorate our holy mother Xenia and her two maid servants.
Τῇ αύτῇ ἡμέρᾳ, μνήμη τῶν Ἁγίων Μαρτύρων Παύλου, Παυσιρίου καὶ Θεοδοτίωνος, τῶν αὐταδέλφων.	On this day we also commemorate the holy martyrs Paul, Pafsirion, and Theodotion who were siblings.
Τῇ αύτῇ ἡμέρᾳ, μνήμη τοῦ Ἁγίου Ἱερομάρτυρος Βαβύλα, τοῦ ἐν Σικελίᾳ, καὶ Τιμοθέου καὶ Ἀγαπίου, τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ.	On this day we also commemorate the holy hieromartyr Babylas of Sicily, and Timothy and Agapios his disciples.
Τῇ αύτῇ ἡμέρᾳ, μνήμη τοῦ Ὁσίου πατρὸς ἡμῶν Μακεδονίου.	On this day we also commemorate our devout father Macedonius.
Τῇ αύτῇ ἡμέρᾳ, ἡ ἀνακομιδὴ τῶν λειψάνων τοῦ Ἁγίου Ὁσιομάρτυρος Ἀναστασίου τοῦ Πέρσου.	On this day was the translation of the relics of the devout martyr Anastasios of Persia.
Τῇ αύτῇ ἡμέρᾳ, μνήμη τῶν Ἁγίων Μαρτύρων Ἑρμογένους καὶ Μηνᾶ· καὶ τοῦ Ὁσίου Πατρὸς ἡμῶν Φίλωνος, Ἐπισκόπου γενομένου τοῦ Καλπασίου· καὶ μνήμη τοῦ Ὁσίου Πατρὸς ἡμῶν Φιλίππου Πρεσβυτέρου· καὶ τοῦ Ἁγίου Μάρτυρος Βαρσίμου, καὶ τῶν δύο αὐτοῦ ἀδελφῶν.	On this day we also commemorate the holy martyrs Hermogenes and Menas; our devout father Filo, bishop of Carpasia; and our devout father Philip the priest; also the holy martyr Barsimus and his two brothers.

Τῇ αύτῇ ἡμέρᾳ, μνήμη τοῦ Ἁγίου Προφήτου, Προδρόμου, καὶ Βαπτιστοῦ Ἰωάννου, πλησίον τοῦ τάφου.	On this day we also commemorate the holy Prophet, Forerunner, and Baptist John, near the Taurus.
Μνήμη τοῦ Ὅσίου Πατρὸς ἡμῶν Διονυσίου, τοῦ ἐν τῷ Ὀλύμπῳ.	We also commemorate our devout father Dionysius of Olympus.
Μνήμη τοῦ Ὁσίου Πατρὸς ἡμῶν Νεοφύτου τοῦ Ἐγκλείστου, τοῦ ἐν Κὐπρῳ ἀσκήσαντος.	We also commemorate our devout father Neophytos the Recluse who lived as an ascetic on Cyprus.
