Ἀδελφοί, μάρτυς μού ἐστιν ὁ Θεός, ὡς ἐπιποθῶ πάντας ὑμᾶς ἐν σπλάγχνοις Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ. καὶ τοῦτο προσεύχομαι, ἵνα ἡ ἀγάπη ὑμῶν ἔτι μᾶλλον καὶ μᾶλλον περισσεύῃ ἐν ἐπιγνώσει καὶ πάσῃ αἰσθήσει, εἰς τὸ δοκιμάζειν ὑμᾶς τὰ διαφέροντα, ἵνα ἦτε εἰλικρινεῖς καὶ ἀπρόσκοποι εἰς ἡμέραν Χριστοῦ, πεπληρωμένοι καρπῶν δικαιοσύνης τῶν διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ εἰς δόξαν καὶ ἔπαινον Θεοῦ. Brethren, God is my witness, how I yearn for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus. And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. I want you to know, brethren, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel, so that it has become known throughout the whole praetorium and to all the rest that my imprisonment is for Christ; and most of the brethren have been made confident in the Lord because of my imprisonment, and are much more bold to speak the word without fear. Therefore take the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand, therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the equipment of the gospel of peace; with all of these, taking the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the flaming darts of the evil one. Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ μνήμη τοῦ ὁσίου Πατρὸς ἡμῶν Κοσμᾶ τοῦ Ποιητοῦ, Ἐπισκόπου Μαϊουμᾶ, τοῦ Ἁγιοπολίτου.	On this day we commemorate our devout father Cosmas the Hagiopolite and Poet, Bishop of Maiuma.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ μνήμη τοῦ ἁγίου Ἱερομάρτυρος Σιλβανοῦ.	On this day we commemorate the holy hieromartyr Silvanus.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ μνήμη τοῦ ἁγίου Μάρτυρος Πέτρου τοῦ Αὐσελάμου.	On this day we commemorate the holy martyr Peter Absalom.
Οἱ ἅγιοι Τεσσαράκοντα Μάρτυρες, οἱ ἐξ Αἰγύπτου καὶ Παλαιστίνης, ξίφει τελειοῦνται.	The holy Forty Martyrs of Egypt and Palestine died by the sword.
Μνήμη τῆς ὁσίας Μητρὸς ἡμῶν Παρασκευῆς τῆς νέας.	We also commemorate our devout mother Paraskeve the New.
Μνήμη τοῦ ἐν ἀγίοις Πατρὸς ἡμῶν Ἰγνατίου τοῦ Ἀγγαλιανοῦ, Ἀρχιεπισκόπου Μηθύμνης, τοῦ θαυματουργοῦ .	We also commemorate our father among the saints Ignatius the miracle-worker, Archbishop of Mithymna.
