In you, O Father, is preserved undistorted what was made in the image of God; for taking up the cross, you followed Christ and by example taught, that we should overlook the flesh, since it passes away, and instead look after the soul, since it is immortal. Τὸν ἀμνὸν καὶ ποιμένα καὶ Σωτῆρα τοῦ κόσμου, ἐν τῷ Σταυρῷ θεωροῦσα, ἡ τεκοῦσα ἔλεγε δακρύουσα· ὁ μὲν κόσμος ἀγάλλεται, δεχόμενος τὴν λύτρωσιν, τὰ δὲ σπλάγχνα μου φλέγονται, ὁρώσης σου τὴν σταύρωσιν, ἣν ὑπὲρ πάντων ὑπομένεις, ὁ Υἱὸς καὶ Θεός μου.	When the Mother of the Lamb and Shepherd and Savior of the world saw Him on the Cross, she uttered tearfully, “The world rejoices at receiving redemption, but my insides are burning as I see Your crucifixion, which You endure for all, O my Son and my God.” [SD]

Τῷ Σταυρῷ τοῦ Υἱοῦ σου ἀεὶ φρουρούμενοι, τὰς προσβολὰς Παρθένε τῶν δαιμόνων ἐκκλίνομεν· διό σε κατὰ χρέος, ἀνυμνοῦντες δοξάζομεν, Θεοτόκε πανύμνητε.	O Virgin, as we are ever shielded by the Cross of your Son, we turn away from the assaults of demons. Therefore, we dutifully extol and glorify you, O all-lauded Theotokos. [SD]

Πυρὸς φωτεινότερον, φλογὸς ἐναργέστερον, τὸ ξύλον ἀνέδειξας Χριστέ, τὸ τοῦ Σταυροῦ σου, καταφλέγον ἁμαρτίας τῶν νοσούντων, καὶ φωτίζον τὰς καρδίας τῶν ὑμνούντων, τὴν ἑκούσιόν σου σταύρωσιν· Χριστὲ ὁ Θεὸς δόξα σοι.	O Christ, You gave power to the wood of Your holy Cross, * for it is more luminous than flames of fire and more caustic; * for it burns away the sins of those in illness, * and it illumines the hearts of those extolling * Your voluntary crucifixion. Ἡ Ἐκκλησία βοᾷ σοι Χριστὲ ὁ Θεός, ἐν κέδρῳ καὶ πεύκῃ καὶ κυπαρίσσῳ προσκυνοῦσά σε· Νίκας τοῖς βασιλεῦσιν ἡμῶν, διὰ τῆς Θεοτόκου δωρούμενος, ἐλέησον ἡμᾶς.	The Church worships You, O Christ God, and venerates the cedar, pine, and cypress. And she prays to You, “Grant success to our government, through the Theotokos, and have mercy on us.” [GOASD]

Εἰ καὶ μητέρα σε ἡ κτίσις ἐγνώρισεν, ἀλλὰ παρθένον σε ὁ Πλάστης ἀνέδειξεν· ἔτεκες γὰρ ἐν σαρκὶ Χριστὸν τὸν Θεόν, τὸν Σωτῆρα τῶν ψυχῶν ἡμῶν.	Creation knew you to be a mother, but the Creator showed you be a virgin, when you physically gave birth to Christ God, the Savior of our souls. [SD]

Ὁ διʼ ἡμᾶς ἐπονείδιστον, καταδεξάμενος σταύρωσιν, δέξαι τοὺς ὑμνοῦντας τὰ πάθη σου, Χριστὲ ὁ Θεός, καὶ σῶσον ἡμᾶς.	O Christ our God, for us You accepted painful crucifixion, accept us as we extol Your Passion and save us. [SD]

Ἀγαλλιᾶσθε δίκαιοι, εὐφραινέσθω τὰ οὐράνια, ἐπὶ γῆς γὰρ οἱ Μάρτυρες ἀγωνισάμενοι, τὸν ἐχθρὸν κατεπάτησαν, καὶ τῶν εἰδώλων τὴν πλάνην κατήργησαν· σκιρτάτω ἡ Ἐκκλησία, τὰ νικητήρια ἑορτάζουσα, τῷ ἀθλοθέτῃ καὶ μόνῳ, νικοποιῷ Χριστῷ τῷ Θεῷ, τῷ παρέχοντι τῷ κόσμῳ τὸ μέγα ἔλεος.	Be glad, O you righteous; let the heavens sing for joy. For when the Martyrs competed, they trampled the enemy, and they brought down the deception of the idols. Let the Church leap for joy, as she celebrates the Judge of the contest, Christ our God, who alone confers victory, and who grants the world the great mercy. [SD]

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your great mercy; and according to the abundance of Your compassion, blot out my transgression. Wash me thoroughly from my lawlessness and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my lawlessness, and my sin is always before me. Against You only have I sinned and done evil in Your sight; that You may be justified in Your words, and overcome when You are judged. For behold, I was conceived in transgressions, and in sins my mother bore me. Behold, You love truth; You showed me the unknown and secret things of Your wisdom. You shall sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be cleansed; You shall wash me, and I will be made whiter than snow. You shall make me hear joy and gladness; my bones that were humbled shall greatly rejoice. Turn Your face from my sins, and blot out all my transgressions. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me with Your guiding Spirit. I will teach transgressors Your ways, and the ungodly shall turn back to You. For if You desired sacrifice, I would give it; You will not be pleased with whole burnt offerings. A sacrifice to God is a broken spirit, a broken and humbled heart God will not despise. Do good, O Lord, in Your good pleasure to Zion, and let the walls of Jerusalem be built; then You will be pleased with a sacrifice of righteousness, with offerings and whole burnt offerings; then shall they offer young bulls on Your altar. Ὁ ἐν πρεσβείαις θερμότατος ἀντιλήπτωρ, καὶ τοῖς αἰτοῦσι ταχύτατα ὑπακούων, δέξαι τὴν δέησιν Ἀνανία ἡμῶν, καὶ τὸν Χριστὸν δυσώπει τοῦ ἐλεῆσαι ἡμᾶς, τὸν μόνον Ἁγίοις δοξαζόμενον.	Ananias, most fervent protector, through most fervent intercessions and most speedy listener to requests, accept our entreaty and importune Christ to to have mercy on us, as the only One glorified in His saints. By the light of your illumination, my Savior, cleanse the cloud and darkness of my heart and give me words to praise the divine virtues and blessed contests of the apostle with a clean conscience, for you, very merciful one, are the fountain of wisdom and giver of good. Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ μνήμη τοῦ ὁσίου Πατρὸς ἡμῶν Ῥωμανοῦ, τοῦ Ποιητοῦ τῶν Κοντακίων.	On this day we commemorate our devout father Romanos, the Poet of Kontakia.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ μνήμη τῶν ἁγίων Μαρτύρων Μιχαὴλ ἐκ τῆς Μονῆς Ζώβης, καὶ τῶν σὺν αὐτῷ λϚʹ ἁγίων μοναχῶν, τῶν μαρτυρησάντων ἐν τῇ ἐνορίᾳ Σεβαστουπόλεως.	On this day we commemorate the holy martyrs Michael of the Monastery of Zovi and with him thirty-six holy monks who were martyred in the parish of Sevastoupolis.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ μνήμη τῶν ἁγίων ἓξ Ὁσιομαρτύρων, ξίφει τελειωθέντων.	On this day we commemorate the six holy monastic martyrs who died by the sword.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ μνήμη τοῦ ἁγίου Μάρτυρος Δομνίνου.	On this day we commemorate the holy martyr Domninus.

Συγγνώμην καὶ ἄφεσιν τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν καὶ τῶν πλημμελημάτων ἡμῶν παρὰ τοῦ Κυρίου αἰτησώμεθα.	For pardon and remission of our sins and transgressions, let us ask the Lord.
Τὰ καλὰ καὶ συμφέροντα ταῖς ψυχαῖς ἡμῶν καὶ εἰρήνην τῷ κόσμῳ παρὰ τοῦ Κυρίου αἰτησώμεθα.	For that which is good and beneficial for our souls, and for peace for the world, let us ask the Lord.
Τὸν ὑπόλοιπον χρόνον τῆς ζωῆς ἡμῶν ἐν εἰρήνῃ καὶ μετανοίᾳ ἐκτελέσαι παρὰ τοῦ Κυρίου αἰτησώμεθα.	That we may complete the remaining time of our life in peace and repentance, let us ask the Lord.
Χριστιανὰ τὰ τέλη τῆς ζωῆς ἡμῶν, ἀνώδυνα, ἀνεπαίσχυντα, εἰρηνικὰ καὶ καλὴν ἀπολογίαν τὴν ἐπὶ τοῦ φοβεροῦ βήματος τοῦ Χριστοῦ αἰτησώμεθα.	And let us ask for a Christian end to our life, peaceful, without shame and suffering, and for a good defense before the awesome judgment seat of Christ.
