Come, let us bless the memory of the Lord’s apostle, Simon, ⁄ who confirmed the teaching of Christ in the souls of the faithful. ⁄ Now he stands before the divine glory together with the angels, ⁄⁄ interceding for the salvation of us all! [OCA]

Let us all now extol the memory of the Apostle and solemnly call it blessed, as a day of salvation. For it shines like a sun on the entire world, and it drives away the fog with its rays of light, and it brightly shines on those who observe it with longing and honor it with faith. So, let us enthusiastically assemble and extol him as is our duty. For he stands near Christ, unceasingly interceding for the salvation of us all. [SD]
