Triadic Hymns

Mode 3.

O Trinity, consubstantial and undivided, O Unity, with three hypostases and co-eternal, to You as God we shout the hymn of the Angels: Holy, holy, holy are You, our God. By the protection of the Bodiless Hosts have mercy on us. [SD]

Daring to glorify the unoriginate Father, the co-unoriginate Son, and the co-eternal Spirit, the one Godhead, we utter in the manner of the Cherubim: Holy, holy, holy are You, our God. By the intercessions of the Saints save us. [SD]

Who does not marvel at the undefeated contests of the holy Martyrs? Who is not amazed by what they ever accomplished? They abhorred any flattery from kings, and ignored any threats from tyrants. And so subjected to pitch and fire, wild beasts and slaughter, by these they routed the avenging foe. Therefore they received the crowns from Christ God, who grants to the world great mercy. [SD]
