You became a pillar of patience, O devout one, emulating the forefathers, Job in his sufferings and Joseph in his temptations, and the manner of the bodiless, though you were still in body. O Theotokos, you are our refuge and strength, and for the world you are a mighty assistance. With your intercessions shelter your servants, from any hard necessity, O only blessed Lady. [GOASD]

Κριτοῦ καθεζομένου, καὶ Ἀγγέλων ἑστώτων, σάλπιγγος ἠχούσης, καὶ φλογὸς καιομένης, τί ποιήσεις ψυχή μου, ἀπαγομένη εἰς κρίσιν; τότε γὰρ τὰ δεινά σου παρίστανται, τὰ κρυπτά σου ἐλέγχονται ἐγκλήματα· διὸ πρὸ τέλους βόησον· Ὁ Θεὸς ἱλάσθητί μοι, καὶ σῶσόν με.	When the Judge has been seated and the Angels are there, when the trumpet has sounded, and the fire is aflame, what will you do, O my soul, as you are brought in to be judged? For you will hear the charges against you, and evidence with be shown of the awful things you did, even in secret. So before the end, cry out and pray, “God, be merciful to me, and save me!” [GOASD]

What is here is fleeting, what is there is eternal. I see the court of justice and the Judge on His throne, and I am dreading the verdict.
