Ἐν τῇ Βασιλείᾳ σου μνήσθητι ἡμῶν Κύριε, ὅταν ἔλθῃς ἐν τῇ Βασιλείᾳ σου. Μακάριοι οἱ πτωχοὶ τῷ πνεύματι, ὅτι αὐτῶν ἐστιν ἡ Βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν.	In Your kingdom. Remember us, O Lord, when You come in Your kingdom. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven [RSV]

Μακάριοι οἱ εἰρηνοποιοί, ὅτι αὐτοὶ Υἱοὶ Θεοῦ κληθήσονται.	Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. [RSV]
Ὡραῖος ἦν καὶ καλὸς εἰς βρῶσιν, ὁ ἐμὲ θανατώσας καρπός· Χριστός ἐστι τὸ ξύλον τῆς ζωῆς, ἐξ οὗ φαγὼν οὐ θνῄσκω, ἀλλὰ βοῶ σὺν τῷ λῃστῇ· Μνήσθητί μου Κύριε, ἐν τῇ Βασιλείᾳ σου.	The fruit that killed me of old was good for food and beautiful to contemplate. But Christ is the very tree of life, from which I eat and die not. And echoing the Robber’s words, I cry out, “Remember me in Your kingdom, O Lord.” [SD]
Μακάριοι οἱ δεδιωγμένοι ἕνεκεν δικαιοσύνης, ὅτι αὐτῶν ἐστιν ἡ Βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν.	Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [RSV]
Τὰ τραύματα, τῆς ἐμῆς καρδίας, τὰ ἀνίατα Κύριε, ἰάτρευσον ὡς μόνος ἰατρός, ψυχῶν τε καὶ σωμάτων, καὶ βηματίζειν με ὀρθῶς, πάντοτε εὐόδωσον, τὰς σωτηριώδεις ὁδούς.	O Lord, as the only physician of souls and bodies, heal the incurable wounds of my heart, and help me on my way to stand and walk the ways that lead to salvation. [SD]
Μακάριοι ἐστὲ ὅταν ὀνειδίσωσιν ὑμᾶς, καὶ διώξωσι, καὶ εἴπωσι πᾶν πονηρὸν ῥῆμα καθʼ ὑμῶν, ψευδόμενοι ἕνεκεν ἐμοῦ.	Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely [for my sake]. [RSV]
Ὁ προδραμὼν τῆς δικαιοσύνης, τοῦ Ἡλίου Χριστοῦ Βαπτιστά, τὸν λύχνον τῆς ψυχῆς μου τὸν τῇ πολλῇ, κακίᾳ ἐσβεσμένον, ἄναψον θείαις προσευχαῖς, ὅπως μακαρίζω σε, πάντοτε σῳζόμενος.	The lamp of my soul has gone out because of much sinning. O Baptist of Christ, who came before the Sun of Righteousness, reignite my soul, by your divine prayers, so that I may be saved and may ever call you blessed. [SD]
Χαίρετε καὶ ἀγαλλιᾶσθε, ὅτι ὁ μισθὸς ὑμῶν πολὺς ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς.	Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven. [RSV]

Ἀθλήσαντες καὶ στεφανωθέντες, τὸν ἐχθρὸν κατῃσχύνατε, καὶ νῦν περιπολεῖτε τοὺς οὐρανούς, φωτὸς ἀδιαδόχου, ἀποπληρούμενοι σοφοί, Μάρτυρες πρεσβεύοντες, ὑπέρ τῶν ψυχῶν ἡμῶν.	O wise Martyrs, you competed and were crowned, and thus embarrassed the enemy. And now, filled with perpetual light, you orbit the heavens, and you intercede on behalf of your souls. [SD]

Ἰάτρευσον τῆς ψυχῆς μου τὰ πάθη, τὰ ἀνίατα θεία Τριάς, καὶ ῥῦσαί με γεέννης καὶ πειρασμῶν, ἡ ἐν μιᾷ Θεότητι, δοξαζομένη εὐσεβῶς, καὶ τὴν αἰωνίαν μοι Βασιλείαν δώρησαι.	O Holy Trinity, correctly glorified in single Godhead, cure the incurable passions of my soul, and rescue me from trials and from hell, and grant me the eternal Kingdom. [SD]

Ἐχώρησας ἀστενοχωρήτως, ἐν γαστρὶ τὸν ἀχώρητον, ὃν πάντοτε δυσώπει Μήτηρ ἁγνή, στενοχωρίας πάσης, καὶ παθῶν ἐπαγωγῆς, ῥύσασθαι τοὺς δούλους σου, πόθῳ σε δοξάζοντας.	O pure Mother, you contained in your womb the uncontainable God, without constraining Him. Ever implore Him to deliver us your servants from all constraints and assaults of the passions, so that we may glorify you. [SD]

When you read this you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; that is, how the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. Ἄξιόν ἐστιν ὡς ἀληθῶς μακαρίζειν σε τὴν Θεοτόκον, τὴν ἀειμακάριστον καὶ παναμώμητον καὶ μητέρα τοῦ Θεοῦ ἡμῶν. Τὴν τιμιωτέραν τῶν Χερουβεὶμ καὶ ἐνδοξοτέραν ἀσυγκρίτως τῶν Σεραφείμ, τὴν ἀδιαφθόρως Θεὸν Λόγον τεκοῦσαν, τὴν ὄντως Θεοτόκον, σὲ μεγαλύνομεν.	It is truly right to bless you, Theotokos, ever blessed, most pure, and Mother of our God. More honorable than the Cherubim, and beyond compare more glorious than the Seraphim, without corruption you gave birth to God the Logos. We magnify you, the true Theotokos.

May Christ our true God, through the intercessions of His all-pure and all-immaculate holy Mother, the power of the precious and life-giving Cross, the protection of the honorable, bodiless powers of heaven, the supplications of the honorable, glorious prophet and forerunner John the Baptist, of the holy, glorious, and praiseworthy apostles, of the holy, glorious, and triumphant martyrs, of our righteous and God-bearing fathers, (local patron saint); of the holy and righteous ancestors of God Joachim and Anna, and of all the saints, have mercy on us and save us, as He is good, benevolent, and merciful God.
