Προστασία φοβερὰ καὶ ἀκαταίσχυντε, μὴ παρίδῃς, Ἀγαθή, τὰς ἱκεσίας ἡμῶν, πανύμνητε Θεοτόκε· στήριξον Ὀρθοδόξων πολιτείαν, σῷζε οὓς ἐκέλευσας βασιλεύειν, καὶ χορήγει αὐτοῖς οὐρανόθεν τὴν νίκην· διότι ἔτεκες τὸν Θεόν, μόνη εὐλογημένη.	O awesome and unshamable Protection, O good and praiseworthy Theotokos, do not despise our petitions; make firm the community of the Orthodox; save those whom you have called to rule; grant them victory from heaven, for you gave birth to God and are truly blessed.

Ὑπὲρ εὐκρασίας ἀέρων, εὐφορίας τῶν καρπῶν τῆς γῆς καὶ καιρῶν εἰρηνικῶν τοῦ Κυρίου δεηθῶμεν.	For favorable weather, for an abundance of the fruits of the earth, and for peaceful times, let us pray to the Lord.
Ὑπὲρ πλεόντων, ὁδοιπορούντων, νοσούντων, καμνόντων, αἰχμαλώτων καὶ τῆς σωτηρίας αὐτῶν τοῦ Κυρίου δεηθῶμεν.	For those who travel by land, sea, and air, for the sick, the suffering, the captives and for their salvation, let us pray to the Lord.

Ἀντιλαβοῦ, σῶσον, ἐλέησον καὶ διαφύλαξον ἡμᾶς, ὁ Θεός, τῇ σῇ χάριτι.	Help us, save us, have mercy on us, and protect us, O God, by Your grace.
Τῆς παναγίας, ἀχράντου, ὑπερευλογημένης, ἐνδόξου, δεσποίνης ἡμῶν, Θεοτόκου καὶ ἀειπαρθένου Μαρίας μετὰ πάντων τῶν ἁγίων μνημονεύσαντες, ἑαυτοὺς καὶ ἀλλήλους καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν ζωὴν ἡμῶν Χριστῷ τῷ Θεῷ παραθώμεθα. After the Logos had dwelt among us in the flesh, John, that Son-of-Thunder, wrote, “We beheld the glory, which the Son had from the Father, in grace and truth.” To all of us, who received Him by faith, He gave power to become children of God. And now, born again, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh, but raised by the Holy Spirit, we have erected a house of prayer, and we say, “Savior, establish forever this holy house.” [SD]

Ὁ ὅσιος Ἱερόθεος ὁ Νέος, ὁ ἐν τῇ κατ’ Ἄθω ἱερᾷ Μονῇ τῶν Ἰβήρων ἀσκήσας, ἐν εἰρήνῃ τῷ ͵αψμεʹ (1745) τελειοῦται.	Our devout father Hierotheos the New, who led an ascetic life in the Monastery of Iviron on Mount Athos, died in peace in 1745.

For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
