Τὸ ἀσάλευτον στήριγμα, τὸ τῆς πίστεως, καὶ σεβάσμιον δώρημα, τῶν ψυχῶν ἡμῶν, τὴν Θεοτόκον ἐν ὕμνοις μεγαλύνωμεν πιστοί. Χαῖρε ἡ τὴν πέτραν τῆς ζωῆς, ἐν γαστρί σου χωρήσασα, χαῖρε τῶν περάτων ἡ ἐλπίς, θλιβομένων ἀντίληψις, χαῖρε Νύμφη ἀνύμφευτε.	O Believers, let us magnify the Theotokos in hymns. She is the unshakable support of the Faith, and the venerable gift to our souls. “Rejoice! for in your womb you contained the Rock of life. Rejoice! as the hope of all the earth, and the help of those in trouble! Rejoice, O unwedded Bride!” [SD]

Ἐν ἀνομίαις συλληφθεὶς ἐγὼ ὁ ἄσωτος, οὐ τολμῶ ἀτενίσαι εἰς τὸ ὕψος τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, ἀλλὰ θαῤῥῶν εἰς τὴν φιλανθρωπίαν σου, κράζω, ὁ Θεὸς ἱλάσθητί μοι, καὶ σῶσόν με.	Conceived as I was in iniquities, I the prodigal dare not look up into heaven. But with confidence in Your benevolence, I cry out: O God be gracious unto me and save me. [SD]
Στίχ. Κύριε, μὴ τῷ θυμῷ σου ἐλέγξῃς με, μηδὲ τῇ ὀργῇ σου παιδεύσῃς με.	Verse: O Lord, do not rebuke me in Your wrath, nor chasten me in Your anger.

If the righteous man is only scarcely saved, what shall become of me who am a sinner? I did not bear the burden and the heat of the day. Ἄῤῥηκτον τεῖχος κεκτημένοι πιστοί, τὴν Θεοτόκον Μαρίαν, δεῦτε προσπέσωμεν αὐτῇ· παῤῥησίαν γὰρ ἔχει πρὸς τὸν τεχθέντα ἐξ αὐτῆς, τοῦ πρεσβεύειν καὶ σῴζειν ἀπὸ ὀργῆς, καὶ θανάτου τὰς ψυχὰς ἡμῶν.	We believers have acquired an unbreakable wall, namely Mary the Theotokos. So, let us submit our petitions to her. For she has great confidence with her Son; she can intercede for us and save our souls, from the wrath and from death. [SD]

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your great mercy; and according to the abundance of Your compassion, blot out my transgression. Wash me thoroughly from my lawlessness and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my lawlessness, and my sin is always before me. Against You only have I sinned and done evil in Your sight; that You may be justified in Your words, and overcome when You are judged. For behold, I was conceived in transgressions, and in sins my mother bore me. Behold, You love truth; You showed me the unknown and secret things of Your wisdom. You shall sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be cleansed; You shall wash me, and I will be made whiter than snow. Ἐν ἱερεῦσιν εὐσεβῶς διαπρέψας, καὶ μαρτυρίου τὴν ὁδὸν διανύσας, τὰ τῶν εἰδώλων ἔσβεσας σεβάσματα, πρόμαχος γενόμενος, τῆς σῆς ποίμνης θεόφρον· διὸ σε καὶ γεραίρουσα, μυστικῶς ἐκβοᾷ σοι· Ἐκ τῶν κινδύνων ῥῦσαί με ἀεί, ταῖς σαῖς πρεσβείαις, Πατὴρ ἡμῶν Ἄνθιμε.	You were eminently pious in your priesthood and you finished the way of martyrdom; you quenched the honoring of idols becoming a champion for your flock, godly minded one. Therefore, honoring you, it cries out to you mystically: Ever rescue me from dangers by your prayers, our Father Anthimos [VPA]

All-holy Trinity, have mercy on us. Lord, forgive our sins. Master, pardon our transgressions. Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities for Your name’s sake.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Becoming a partner with the Apostles in way of life and successor to their thrones, O God-inspired Saint, in the active life you found an entrance to contemplation. Στερεώσαι Κύριος ὁ Θεός τὴν ἁγίαν καὶ ἀμώμητον πίστιν τῶν εὐσεβῶν καὶ ὀρθοδόξων χριστιανῶν σὺν τῇ ἁγίᾳ αὐτοῦ Μεγάλῃ Ἐκκλησίᾳ, τῇ ἱερᾷ ἡμῶν Ἀρχιεπισκοπῇ, [τῇ ἱερᾷ Μητροπόλει ταύτῃ] καὶ τῇ πόλει ταύτῃ εἰς αἰῶνας αἰώνων. May Christ our true God, through the intercessions of His all-pure and all-immaculate holy Mother, the power of the precious and life-giving Cross, the protection of the honorable, bodiless powers of heaven, the supplications of the honorable, glorious prophet and forerunner John the Baptist, of the holy, glorious, and praiseworthy apostles, of the holy, glorious, and triumphant martyrs, of our righteous and God-bearing fathers, (local patron saint); of the holy and righteous ancestors of God Joachim and Anna, the holy hieromartyr Anthimos, and our devout father Theoktistos, whose memory we observe, and of all the saints, have mercy on us and save us, as He is good, benevolent, and merciful God.
