O modest Maiden, your church has become a supernatural clinic for all. It raises from obvious death those who go there for help, and to all it pours out abundant sweetness. [SD]

You uniquely rain down to us gifts of grace, without ever running out. From on high you ineffably spoke to Leo, and through the use of clay you caused the blind man to recover his eyesight. [SD]

Christ, our veritable Pascha, is the fulfillment of the Law; therefore He appeared as a male having opened the virgin womb; He has been called a Lamb as being edible; unblemished, as without stain; and He is said to be perfect, being very God. [SD]

The Savior Christ, the crown of goodness who is ever blest by us, willingly was sacrificed for all as a year old paschal lamb, our Passover that cleanses us. And from the sepulcher now the handsome Sun of Righteousness for us has shone again. [SD]

O Virgin, the works of your Spring are truly greater in number than the grains of sand and the raindrops. For they unceasingly flow to all the earth, and richly and quickly heal anyone who is sick. [SD]

O Virgin Lady, the water of your Spring was poured on a woman’s cancerous breast, and immediately the fatal disease was cured by the application of the water. And the crab, namely cancer, learned to walk upright. [SD]

Glory.

O Theotokos, what occurred was clearly incomprehensible and transcending nature. For your water became a cure against fatal illnesses, something nature has never seen before. [SD]

O Theotokos, our Lady of the Spring, the enemy is killing me by means of the assaults of pleasures. Do not overlook me, but come and help me quickly. Deliver me from his traps, so that I may ever extol you who are highly praised. [SD]

O Virgin Maiden, drops of water from your Spring revived a dead man. The deed transcended reason and thought. Everything about you overwhelms human reason. [SD]

O Maiden, please cure my ailments. You stopped hemorrhaging, you ended shivering and fever, you cured tuberculosis, urinary blockage, and dysentery. [SD]

On Friday of Bright (i.e. Renewal) Week, we celebrate the dedication of the church of our most-holy Lady Theotokos, namely the church of the Life-bearing Fount. We also remember the ineffable miracles that were performed in it by the Mother of God.

Everyone sees in your Fount, O Maiden,

Manna, Siloam, and Porch of Solomon.

By the intercessions of Your Mother, O Christ God, have mercy on us. Amen.

Having beheld the Resurrection of Christ, let us worship the holy Lord Jesus, the only sinless one. Your Cross, O Christ, we venerate, and Your holy Resurrection we praise and glorify. For You are our God; apart from You we know no other; we call upon Your name. Glory to Your holy Resurrection, O Lord.

The ointment-bearing women of Godly mind ran after You earnestly. Shedding tears, they sought for You as though You were mortal, then rejoicing they worshipped You the living God, O Christ, then they ran to Your disciples, announcing the mystic Passover. [SD]

We celebrate that death has been put to death, Hades has been overthrown, and another, everlasting life has begun. And exulting we praise and extol the Cause, exalting the only God of the fathers, blessed and supremely glorious. [SD]

All you who are sick, come and drink in the healing. For the all-pure Lady overflows with the true sweetness from the divine spring, and she pours out the river of delight. Therefore, let us all draw with faith from these abundant streams. [SD]

Most-holy Theotokos, save us.

O Lady, your amazing signs and wonders are astonishing to all the faithful who hear of them. Your water makes deaf mutes eloquent; and it cures those who ill and in pain, and it grants healing. [SD]

Glory.

O modest Maiden, you lift from the furnace of adversity those who run to you, and you refresh them with the water of your amazing Spring. A man was freed of gout and disfigurement. You cured a leper and healed boils. [SD]

Young women and girls, and all people together, let us gaily and soulfully extol our Lady in faith. For she has cured cysts, and nail wounds, infected sores, tumors, and even a paralyzed man. [SD]

Come all, let us earnestly extol the divine and life-flowing water. For it stops the production of phlegm in the lungs and discharges it. Your miracles amaze us, O Mother of God. [SD]

What mouth can extol your strange childbirth, O all-lauded Maiden? What mind can consider the well-spring of your miracles, and then applaud them with words? Nature has not the strength to marvel at so many things about you. [SD]

Today a sacred Pascha has been revealed to us; a Pascha new and holy, a Pascha mystical, a Pascha all-venerable, Pascha, the Redeemer Christ himself; a Pascha that is blameless, a Pascha that is great, a Pascha of believers, a Pascha that has opened for us the gates of Paradise, a Pascha that sanctifies believers all. Verse 2: As smoke vanishes, so let them vanish, as wax melts before the fire.

Come now from that sight, O you women and heralds of good news, and say to Zion, “Receive from us the joyful tidings of the Resurrection of Christ. O Jerusalem, be exultant, dance and leap for joy, for you have witnessed Christ the King coming forth as a Bridegroom from the sepulcher.” [SD]
